Each fall I feel excitement in the air. For many years as a student, fall meant a new school year, new possibilities. The end of summer means children will be returning to routines and school. August lacks a national holiday, so if you need something to celebrate, here’s a few ideas. On Aug. 4^th, slap your hotdog with the condiment of the day. National Mustard Day pays tribute to ketchup’s pal. Acknowledge friendship and family on Sister’s Day, Aug. 5^th. Enjoy one of summers last lazy days on Aug. 15^th, National Relaxation Day. August is also Admit You’re Happy Month, Family Fun Month and National Win with Civility Month.
