How will I be notified of my new survey assignments?

A panelist is first notified of a new assignment via e-mail. You then have approximately five to seven days to complete it. A letter is also sent the same day as the e-mail. The letter contains notification of the new assignment and your compensation for the survey. To ensure you have enough time to complete the study, you may want to make sure your e-mail address is current and that you check your e-mail regularly. If you need to change your e-mail address, simply e-mail me with your new address and your household ID number and I will update the database. You may also update this information at any time by visiting your personal profile page on our website. Simply go to the Pinecone Research website and enter your login information.

If my new study assignment is not listed on PineCone’s website what should I do?

The e-mail notification of the new study sent to panelists is a signal that the questionnaire is online and available. However, if there is ever a time when you do not see the study listed on our “Go to Current Study” page, hold down your control button and click refresh. An old page may have been stored in your computer’s memory and it will not update until it is removed. The control/refresh will clear it out allowing you to see the new study listed. If this does not work, please e-mail us at Scott@pineconeresearch.com and we will be happy to troubleshoot the problem.

Why have I been receiving so many household questions recently?

Excellent question! You are right. You are seeing more of these types of questions. The increased frequency of household questions is due to the nature of the surveys we are doing for our clients. We ask for your response to these brief questions to help keep us informed of your purchasing habits. Routinely, they take less than five minutes to complete and are only available to a panelist for a short time, typically four days, sometimes less. A quicker turnaround is needed to give our staff time to process the information for upcoming survey assignments. Your responses to these questions enable us to send you product evaluations that are more relevant for your household.
