Work and other such things have kept me inside a lot lately and my landscaping is showing the effects. I think my schedule is lightening up enough to get outside this weekend and prettify my yard. I’ll be pulling weeds and putting out new mulch and generally getting everything in shape for the summer months. If you are ready to jump in and start working outside, read In a Nutshell for your to-do list for June. Do you ever just need to vent? Do you have views you want the world to hear? Try creating a blog. Learn exactly what it is and how to do it from In a Nutshell. For a little light reading visit Treehouse Trivia. You’ll be amazed at the classified ads some people place. Keep going to find out about the origin of the modern grocery store and the power of curiosity. Stop by Treehouse Games to figure out which famous person said what. We honor the Stars and Stripes on June 14, Flag Day. Next on June 16, Recess at Work Day recommends that bosses give their employees a break. The idea is to shut down computers at 11 a.m. for 30 minutes of playtime. No, not another tie! It’s Father’s Day on June 19. Use your imagination to come up with an original present for Dad. Then usher in the summer with the solstice on June 21.
