The new year
begins on Jan. 1 and it’s time to get your life together. Start with Get
Organized Month. The goal should be streamlining your life to create
more time and lower your stress. For tips visit
www.napo.net. Once you get your basic
organization down, you can focus on your finances. January also hosts
Financial Wellness Month. It’s a time to establish financial balance and
set new goals for financial freedom and moderation in spending. For more
information, browse
www.wordsofwellness.com.
From Jan. 1 to Jan. 7, you can plan the rest of your personal goals
during New Year’s Resolution Week. The days also focus on females taking
stock of their lives during Women’s Self-Empowerment Week. You are
encouraged to recognize your accomplishments and give yourself a pat on
the back. While it’s aimed at teenagers and children, anyone can benefit
from finding more happy moments during Hunt for Happiness week, Jan. 14
through 20. Finally, honor the life of Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan.
15.
In between all your soul-searching and life planning, visit In a
